    1. HUNGER is the first ingredient to Success. Get Hungry.

    • Hunger means that there is something inside of you that just won’t settle. Something that knows that you are more than how you are living now even if you are living better than anybody else you know.
    • Get clear on WHAT you want and WHY you want it. This will drive your hunger.
    2. PHILOSOPHY Matters Most.

    • The right philosophy is critical to massive success. It is way more important than technical “know how.”
    • Massively Successful people have a philosophy of GIVING
    • Know that the secret to success is not, “How can I GET more”, but instead, “What more can I GIVE.”
    • Always ADD VALUE instead of being competitive in the traditional sense.
    • Adopt the mentality with your “competition” that one plus one equals three
    • Do not set out to deceit in order to become stronger
    • Constantly and Never Endingly Improve.
    3. PROXIMITY is Power

    • Find the Best in the world at what you want to do and do whatever it takes to be near them
    • Work for them, be around them constantly, attend their seminars, pursue them, add value to them
    • Do not just be around them once; Repetition is paramount to success

    4. MODELING

    • Find out what somebody is doing to be massively successful and do those same things—model them.
    • Do not try to find out on your own, it will take much longer and the one thing you don’t have more of is time.

It's not suggesting not to have gratitude for what you have. But rather having gratitude and the quest to excell at the same time can and should co-exist.

Nah, @Sackie, Just Do It should be one's motto, apparently.

While I personally agree with the general sentiment, I believe 'just do it' is great, once informed. A subtle but significant distinction imho. The poster who has it as a signature is already an experienced investor.

I truly believe it is. Not just in real estate but with success in general.

With RE when you think about it....most need a certain supporting mindset every step of the way to do well.

A mindset supporting you when you're

1.Working hard on paye to save
    2. Learning about property investing
    3. Making contacts
    4. Taking action to buy
    5. Putting up with tenants, challenges etc
    6. Expanding your base
    7. Ignoring the massive noise around
    8. Strategizing
    9. Adding value ( if that's your thing).

Then you need supporting mindsets when

    1. Life offloads on you
    2. Family troubles
    3. Health troubles
    4. Economic troubles etc etc

Personally, i'd go as far as to say the amount of success one achieves in life is inextricably linked to the level of psychological resilience they have developed over time.

    I agree

I contribute my success to having a great supportive partner in life.

I think its essential to have a partner who is supportive. I know couples where 1 of the partners is not supportive and you could cut through the resentment with knife.

For me, its a matter of learning their support language!
When that knowledge appeared , life got great!
