Home brew. Always very focused and in the moment whilst consuming it. Just like my wife is when she’s brewing it. Become one with the beer, the ultimate mindfulness experience. And always feel very confident, positive, motivated and successful during and afterward.

There are even classes, group and one on one, available for those truely committed to improving themselves. As a master of this art I think I can see a potential business opportunity for me in retirement:):

Here’s where I do my beer meditation / personal development exercises on the deck of an afternoon. As for surrounding myself with positive creatures the neighbours cows fit the bill perfectly especially if I feed then some cabbages and pumpkins. Now this is what being “RETIRED” (not WORKING) is like. Surely you would agree @Xenia:D?:

Just a bit of fun. Hopefully no offence taken:).

My wife doesn’t drink a great deal but absolutely loves brewing as a hobby. She’s been doing it for quite sometime now. The quality is amazing even more so since moving to all grain brewing. All grain brewing requires more “work” but the result is well worth the effort. My god you’re influence is rubbing off on me @Xenia, I mentioned “work” as being pleasure even in retirement:D.

Poor wife, I don’t share her enthusiasm for brewing it but more than compensate in consuming it:).

A recent brew, Rasberry Saison. Two kilo’s of frozen raspberries were used in the brewing process. Tastes more like a brut Rasberry Champayne than beer with similar carbonation:

Now that’s what I call “SUCCESS”.

You mentioned meditation hasn’t worked for you in the past. Surely this will change your mind and likely it can be claimed as a business expense:

    Alternatively there’s Chocolate Yoga classes:

"you are the sum of the people closest to you"

If 9 of your friends are broke you are going to be the 10th.

This is. The. Reason I joined PC. :)

Successful people are always happy to see you succeed and actually hesrtbroken to see people fail.

Non successful people are happy to see people fail because it validates their pathetic existence and jealous of people who are successful

I agree with Musk and Ma, but can't say I agree with Job being in the list. Guess it's a personal thing because I don't agree with his philosophy of screaming and abusing his staff to get the best out of them, in interviews he asks people when they lost their virginity or dealt with drugs and etc.

There are a lot of overly negative and pessimistic people in life period. PC is not immune. Cling to the good people going places, quickly discard the losers who wish to see investors fail (there are a few on here) and enjoy the rollercoaster ride

There was a Economist that posted on Somersoft fourm for a long time that i would talk too every now again..

He had a saying that i had printed framed and is on the fibro office wall next too several other one line statements..

"Success is a state of mind"..

The Germans also have a word "Schadenfreude",if you find the middle ground between Success and Schadenfreude then you may well be there without dropping anyone's name.

Already have some rough goals for 2018 in my small notebook which I carry out. On each page is a different category of renovations, shares, health, education, professional, travel and etc. There are a couple of dot points on each category and will aim to strike when the iron is still hot and try to tick off as many of them as possible in the New Year.

People fail because they've failed to plan!

Good to see it's well balanced to include health, fitness (hopefully??!), social - all work and no play makes one dull! :)

Yes, def agree with you that health and fitness is important, so hence the inclusion on my list of goals. It's not a very broad and far fetched goals but some increments at a time. You can't climb Mount Everest without conquering some of the smaller mountains!
