    Hi All,

We have been living in Brisbane for the past 2.5 years and have always been based in the Bayside suburbs.

We are considering moving further north to be closer to some Christian schools we are interested in sending our kids too.

We have never really venture out to the north but are planning to take a drive to the schools (based in Albany Creek and Everton PArk) and from there look at some surrounding suburbs.

At the back of our minds, as we are in a position to purchase a PPOR, we would like to look at suburbs which we would like to live in, but also want to keep into consideration our purchase and possibly rental budget.

We would be looking for a 3-4 bedroom house and on nice size block within reasonable travelling distance (15-20mins) to the above mentioned suburbs. Should we purchase we would be looking around $500k and about $450-500pw if we decided to rent first.

Ideally we would like to be in quieter suburb close to bushland, open space etc

Planning to take a drive out towards the schools this weekend and would welcome any suburb suggestions we can drive though while looking at the schools.

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers,
    Robbie

St Paul's School at Bald Hills.
St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Bracken Ridge.
So many good schools out there really.

Bracken Ridge got a few of 3 - 4 bedrooms houses on the market for under $500k right now.

Recommend: Bracken Ridge suburb (good public transport, local parks, close to shops and many reserves etc) - your children could walk or ride their bikes to either schools.

Are you up for a big house that requires some TLC? Albany Creek and Eatons Hill have large well built homes on big blocks of land for around $500k.
