Subdivision issues- Septic tank

    We have purchased an investment property in Australind WA in 2008. At the time of purchase, it was mentioned that water corp will be connecting all the properties in our area with deep Sewerage and we could subdivide the property.
    Unfortunately, GFC happened and the water corp shelved the plans.
    Our property is still connected to the septic tank. We are trying to get answers from the shire and water corp but no one is sure when they will start the project again.

    Just wanted to know what are my options now?
