    Hi all

Hoping for some clarification and guidance...!

I'm new to the subdivision game and currently halfway through my first subdivision for a retain and build survey strata 2 lot in City of Wanneroo.

I'm up to the 2 last things I need to do - hardstand car bay (x1 for council) and Western Power.

Hardstand car bay - Called the Wanneroo council and planner said i need to submit some clearing permit/approval to put a concrete or brick paving car bay on the property for the existing lot, and he said the surveyor usually submits this. But my surveyor said they don't do this and to just send a rough sketch to the council for approval/guidance before i actually go ahead. So not sure where to go from here? I've emailed the council for more information but they haven't got back to me yet.

Western Power - I've just got the quote and accepted it online. So I've sent a few enquiries to several electrians for a quote. But what does anyone know the process? Does Western Power install the dome then the electrician does the work? Or does the electrician contractor i hire do the works on behalf of Western Power for the dome? Just wondering which steps I need to take first.

    Thank you!!

Western Power will install the dome, everything from the dome would be your own contractor.

@Westminster might be able to offer some guidance on the hardstand, I'm not familiar with WA.

Western Power does the dome for you. They will organise it - you wont need your own sparkie. Anything from dome onwards is yours from memory.
