    I have received a request to answer some questions for an apparent university student. Given my general cynicism and lack of desire to deal with spruikers, have the rest of you also received this message and what are you going to do about it?

    Has this request been accompanied with the University's Ethics Committee agreement? Send a copy to the relevant university's Ethics dept.

    from what I read I am pretty sure it's a marketing tool

    questions like
    are you interested face to face property advice
    on line survey platform

    Hmm, a master in business... So I assume the assignment is business plan for a property investing tool, which if successful he have just marketed it to the volunteer. Smart :rolleyes:

    How about reporting it rather than posting about it on the forums?

    Nobody else on here can deal with the issue other than the moderators - so if we don't know about it, we can't take action.

    {EDIT - more information available} Pablo's request was genuine but requests like this are explicitly against the forum rules and I had not received any requests for permission to post - and so his messages were deleted.
