    Howdy brains trust...
It appears the side hustle is going to be turned up a notch and the government is keen on giving me a grant to do so.

Any ideas on proper structuring costs? Legal and accounting advice?

It still a tiny service delivery business with 2 or 3 employees tops.

    Help?

It depends, I charge $660 for a consultation of up to 2 hours. Accountants would generally be cheaper than lawyers, but couldn't advise on the legal aspects. Lawyers could advise on the tax side if they are qualified and/or knowledge but not on the accounting side.

Would 2 hours be enough to set the business structure up?

They've asked for a total cost to move to a company structure....

Is it a 2k mission or 20k? I have absolutely no idea...

impossible to say without knowing much.
If you want advice on transferring an existing business to another ownership structure it could cost anything from $660 to about $10,000 depending on a lot of things. You might need advice on several different things such as the CGT exemption, stamp duty, structure of the company, asset protection, debt recycling + 10 or 20 more things.

first thing to do would be to have an initial consultation with a lawyer and work out where to go from there.
