    Hi Everyone,

Did a bit of searching through PC but couldn't find much where people were talking about structural renovations they have done, design and costings.

Hoping to hear from any of you with experience in it, or your thoughts.

Mainly considering the addition (extension to existing house) of a master bedroom with ensuite. So likely a 3x1 into a 4x2, with the master and ensuite making up the extra bed and bathroom.

Just spitballing, but a 3.5 x 4.5m master, with a walk in robe of 1.5 x 2m, and a ensuite of 2 x 3m. Basically this makes a box of 6.5 x 3.5m, or 22.75 sqm. That would allow the ensuite a double vanity, some room to move, and a decent shower of 0.9 x 2m (with toilet of course).

Anyone done an extension and put another bedroom and/or bathroom on?

Even interested to hear about just putting an extra bathroom in, if you stole the floorspace from an existing area. I don't imagine there are too many extensions to the existing floorplan just for a bathroom.

There is more to this, bringing in a hallway, and some other bits and pieces, but the extra bed and bath is where I wanted to start.

    TIA

    Stannis
