Do you guys care about street numbers? :)

Assuming if the property ticks most of the boxes.

No ... but I would probably avoid 666!

I can't find enough streets with a 666 in Oz so I have had to comprise to 6/66

I think it's ludicrous but it's a superstitious world, so what to do...sometimes you have to go with the flow.

Just about all of mine have been odd numbers, not deliberately at all, just happened like that.

    A couple 19s, 7s, 9s, etc

    44 would be hard.

As long as you have a 4 after you have a chance of changing it such as 24 or 341 or 84 as it can be 22A or 339A or 82A. Ppl do it a lot in box hill. though it you got 245 you would be stuck as you could only go 243A or 247A.

I have a 4 and apparently explained why no Chinese attended the auction !!

I also have a 64 which I’ll be selling in a few years...

Having 4 is alright, but not double 4. Some combinations like 14, 64 are bad though.

Its okay, not as bad as 44. If the factors outweight it, would still sell well. Many chinese are being westernized these days anyway.

not sure where it is u can change it to 62A (may or may not make a difference) but some Asians do mind it. Even property floors in asia are 3A instead of 4. I have seen some places being sold are like $888,888.888 in Doncaster, glen Waverley, Balwyn over the years. and some bidders in auction would skip the 4 altogether. as in 830K they would go 850K instead of 840K.

Melbourne office block sells at $88,888,888

Melbourne South East. My issues with "A" is it denotes subdivision in most cases... i.e. duplex or townhouse.

i wouldn't do it if well if it was Tarneit or Werribee - coz different demographic market.

If it was box hill Balwyn wheelers hill mt Waverley Burwood Burwood east Doncaster Blackburn etc well just about majority of the south east :) I would but that's just me. As long as you stress the size of the block (if it was 300sqm then yeah it would be but if it was bigger - shouldn't be an issue)

if you got an agent who markets overseas and send the advertising - the ones who mind the "4" may just overlook it

Again it is subjective. better to have more views than to be overlooked.

    That's fine.

    Some FAQ here...

So in many countries, 1 in chinese is treated as "want". So if you combine 14, it means wanna die. And also 6, it some asian countries, it refers to path. So 64 would refer to path to death.

I know it's pretty shallow, but oh well.

Not really... odd numbers tend to be safest. Popular numbers are 1, 8, 9. So 18, 19, are usually good signs. 9 means longevity, and often used in ancient dynasty to refer long lasting kingdom or life.
