    Howdy! Need some help here...

If a body corporate is self-managed, can I still do a strata report?
Will all the info be in there or does it depend on whoever is managing?
    Will it include finances?

    This is in the NT.

    Help?

It will depend entirely on who is managing it and how good their record keeping is. Owners and interested parties have a legal right to that information so the manager must provide it/make it available, but in reality many many records are missing in self-managed schemes.

    Good luck!

In NSW the legislation applicable to strata inspections is unaltered by whether or not the owners corporation has appointed a professional strata manager, and I would expect the same in every state and territory. There's no real reason to tolerate poor transparency from an Owners Corporation just because they DIY.

Whether the information that is meant to be there is there or not is a different question.

Hammer, maybe worth considering getting a strata manager, given the associated risk that is implied with your original post.
