    strata land title

Hi just a question regarding strata titles. i own a unit on 8 unit strata in VIC and it is very old nearly 35+ years.

I think there could be a future proposal to scrap and rebuild the whole build. My worry is i own a corner unit

with fence and land of my own. if they develop it again can they push me to a middle unit in the new strata title?

any other issues with this kinda redevelop scenario?

    35 years isn't old.

To dissolve a body corporate (in NSW) you need 100% of owners to agree not sure what it is in Victoria. <5% of BC have been terminated.

It is generally unviable to redevelop existing strata complexes unless the density is much greater than the current ie at lest 3x greater.

Michael Teys who specializes in strata law has started a new business called Block Strata in NSW. Give them a call to see what your rights are. They do all states.
