The northern end off the beach has all the dunes and sand ... this is the southern end where all they people live, on a peninsula that protects they port of Newcastle
I haven't been to Stockton for a few years. Lots of great but rundown houses, a short ferry trip or long drive from Newcastle.
There's a reason it's called the "Balmain of Newcastle" ... ... fast reaching Merewether prices. Fortunately we bought in before it was really really re-discovered
The last time I looked, the place was being ruined by GF & splitters on every corner lot and prices were going wild. I like the place, kinda reminds me of a pre-refinery Kurnell without the planes. Beaches, National Park, 12 fingers/toes, quiet, doesn't flood (yet), a hop skip and a jump from the big smoke.
