Mate I'm the first one to admit it's fun cos it's borderline gambling. :) But I go into it knowing, I am basically gambling on this.

And yes, I love the odd visit to the casino:oops:

So investing in a stock for 3 years is gambling now?

I look at technical analysis before putting money on my positions and then try to look at TA for exit points etc. I call it 'gambling' because many people call TA, technical voodoo . Yes leaving it for the time period I have does suggest I'm investing but I understand how volatile stocks can be so I keep it in my mind that it's borderline gambling for me. I don't want to have my expectations set too high as well as keeping my ego in check when it comes to the crazy stock market...I know many people who think they know what they're doing and all the profits are derived from their intelligence.. maybe, maybe not.. anyway I rather keep my expectations low when it comes to the stock market.

well done on selling a portion and keeping a core re STO.
STO has broken out above the resistance that has capped it since late Oct.
Not only that, your new stock (WES) is advancing as well!

12/dec had the biggest volume transaction in a year. My guess is its a larger buy order in a steady rise. No dip in prices eigher post transcation. Who knows, probably all voodoo but its fun :)

So is been a month since investing in Wes.ax and I've made a little over $2600. No complaints so far. My crystal ball prediction is it gets past $55. It has literally no background noise and is clear to fly. All a bit of fun really.

My sto.ax has also gone up about 12% since I posted last month. Keeping my sto long term, I think it has the potential to at least go to $13. All crystal ball stuff.

I really want to sell short this stock. Is it possible to do it?

Circle is where I reckon the big money got out and it's left to crash.

are you sure you want to short MFG? hahaha,

i am its your money, but if you to your broker, there should be an options/contract tab, you can do it there, if not call them they will be able to help you.

    Hows STO going now?
I would have taken profit back when you started this thread. Could be buying back today at $7 .

You are still in heaps of profit though so maybe top up?
If it was me I would be looking to buy more soon. I think covid17 has a way to go yet though.

Didn't take profits but bought at 2.80. I'm in it for the long haul. Purchasing another 150k. We'll see in 12-24 months how it goes.

DOW down 1200 pts overnight, 6th day in a row, 13% retrace from ATH.
    Back to Aug-Sept levels.
    And looking very panicky.

    Nearly time to start shopping.;):D

    Hmmmm yeah I dunno......
I nearly pulled the trigger this morning while below $6.60

Corona virus gets worse so does STO i think.

Looks over sold I know but no-one can time the market so at least its wayyyyyy cheaper than this time last week!

Yeah me thinks can go lower. I'll jump in soonish. Money ready to go. For me, stocks are all highly speculative. Perhaps over exaggerated a tad, but this way I keep my ego in check and less disappointment if it goes sour.
