Stampduty Exemption for Charities in NSW

    Hi All,

    A charity org registered in ACNC looking to buy a commercial property for their day to day activities which includes religious work and cultural activities.
    I was checking whether they can get stamp duty exemption on the basis of charity
    Reading :

    This charity does give away free food to those needy on daily basis.
    So as per section 275, Can this charity claim stamp duty exemption?

    that is something they will need legal advice on. perhaps a private ruling upfront to be sure
