Hi Guys, I'm putting the finishing touches to an outdoor verandah in Darwin and I need to get a couple of ceiling fans.

They'll be outside, in the tropics next to the ocean so they will cop a flogging. Electricians are expensive here so. Thinking it will work out better over the long run to buy good fans.

So er...what do I get? I need one big one wth a led light and a smaller one without a light?

    Does anyone have any recommendations?

I know nothing about ceiling fans....

Buy cheapies and replace them every 5 years. That way they'll never fail.

Salt air, humidity etc will affect performance.
