I lived in Melaleuca Drive in the 80's. Back then Torokina Avenue was known as the area with the platial homes. I drove into the area about 12 months ago and it still looks the same. Just leafier and greener. Don't know if it is in demand or not.

You would also have the area close to the St Ives Prep school. That would be tightly held I think.

St Ives north primary catchment is highly desirable as the school has a highly reputable gifted program. Cheaper and better than private school for clever kids

Call my friend Matthew Johnson at lj hooker st Ives he's worked there over 20 years, lovely person, loves a chat.:) he'll give you the lowdown in 5 minutes

Bump onto this post when I was thinking about the same question. Wondering if the properties that fall into the St Ives North Primary catchment will attract alot of competitions and generally more expensive than other areas of St Ives? Hence, property prices in that particular catchment area are more sturdy in longer term?

@Justin23 wondering how's your search going? Did you end up a property there?
