I was checking a client site the other day and bumped into builder and plumber marking out heights for shower. They decided on 1900mm to base of rose and I made them change it to 2000mm. I think if you’re 6’2” and washing your hair you’d bump your hands on the rose at 1900mm so I use 2000mm.

I’m possibly more aware of these things as hubby is 6’3 or 4.

Edit: choosing a 2000mm base of rose can have an impact on tiling height but this was a full height tiling bathroom but we still kept the shower screen height at 2000mm

Here are my recommendations (which may be wrong)

    Bathroom/Ensuite
Shower rose - Plumbing at 1900mm with screen to 2000mm and tiling to 2100mm.
Bench top 850mm to 900mm for vanity. If the basin sits ontop of the bench then go for 850mm otherwise the basin height plus bench height is too high.
Towel Rail - 900mm (kids bathroom) or 1000mm to 1200mm (adult ensuite)
    Toilet Roll - 750mm?
Mirror : 200mm -300mm between bench and mirror (distance depends on height of tap and vanity) , 900mm high.
Basin Controls : 100mm to 150mm above basin
Shower controls 1000mm to 1200mm high . Maybe 1050mm is a good height?
Bathtub: 600mm high. Spout - 150mm above bath
    DGPO 5cm above bench top
