    Hey just some feedback.

The index page https://propertychat.com.au/community/ is very long and takes a while to scroll.
Is it possible to squish everything or remove the grey bar under each topic as below.

    It's currently
    "Latest"--------------------Empty------------------------------------
    -----Empty---------------"Discussions" & "Messages" "RSS"

    So It'll be
    "Latest" ---- "Discussions" ---- "Messages" ---- "RSS"

Yes, except that on small-screen devices it doesn't all fit if you do that.

I was planning to experiment with this type of thing, but ran out of time.

Either way - most people use the "New Posts" search to find new threads and don't tend to scroll through the forum list much anyway.

I reckon the best solution would be a toggle button giving people the option to view in compressed mode. Gmail is a good reference point.

Okay, I've managed to condense the size of the forum listing a bit by removing the second line with the forum stats.

... I've managed to make this work on smaller screen devices by progressively hiding the less important information as the screen gets smaller.

... you can also opt to hide the forum descriptions in the forum listing ...

... which saves a little more space too:
