Hi all. I’m interested in how everyone spreads their risk in terms off percentages of asset classes. My numbers are: Cash: 3% Property: 83% Shares (all LICs): 1% Super: 10% Other: 3% Apologies if there is another similar thread
Taking into account leverage, my numbers are probably around: Property: 350% Super: 15% Everything else put together: <5%
Australian real estate: approx 75% Overseas real estate: approx 20% Shares: 5% I prefer to focus on the investment vehicle I understand and spread risk within that, than to spread risk across investment classes just to give myself the illusion that I've really spread risk.
