    Very interesting. I'm super sceptical that it will get much further though. I can see a lot of problems.

    Mostly that its just a proposal from the community housing lobby group, which seems pretty pie in the sky. I wouldn't mind finding the actual papers and having a closer read of them though.

    Its quite different to NRAS. For starters, it is limited to institutional investors. It doesnt appear that there is any scope for individual mum and dad investors to be able to invest. And even if they can, it appears the CHP's would own the dwellings, not the investors. All the investors would receive is a dividend. With NRAS, the investor owns the dwelling and receives the tax credit.

    Having said that, I dont know the details yet other than what I have read.
