    I don't think there are any surprises here.

    At the same time I do know investors that have made money with OTP apartments, comes down to timing, need to get in at the very early stages of a rising market is key IMO

    And there should be more losses as new stock becomes available.

    I can imagine how painful it will be for apartment owners to be paying the very high strata fees and faced with the risk of big maintenance bills plus being regularly hit by higher interest rates.

    I could understand holding an asset when there is potential for price increases but when we are not likely to see price increases in the near future there is no point in doing it.

    Sometimes doing nothing is the best strategy.
