    Hi,
I recently sold a property that I held since 2008 and don't have any of the initial purchase paperwork. I can't for the life of me remember who the property agent or the solicitors were either. Is there any way I can track down these records in order to do my tax return? Or will I simply miss out on those deductions now? Thanks.

You may have to have a dealing search (paid - minor cost) then use tables for duty and a estimate ($1k) for legals.
