I was doing a bit of gardening and noticed a kind of void had appeared under the front of my house where the soil under the actual slab had disappeared. Is this a serious problem, or would I just need to replace the soil? There’s is a pipe (included in photos) running along that wall, not sure if relevant.

I’ll be getting a building inspector out, but wanted to check if there’s an urgent issue there in the meantime.

House was built 1 year ago.
    Thankyou!!

Take it up with the builder as a warranty issue.
Keep plenty of pics and a paper trail of all communications.

The pipe is an Ag pipe for drainage, it should have had a cloth sock covering it to help prevent the soil from being washed into it and away (likely blocking the pipe elsewhere and making the idea of a drain useless).
