I have been looking at switching from REST to a cloud based service but can't seem to nail the right balance as feedback from agents/landlords varies. 110 managements - 80 commercial/industrial and 30 residential.

Just curious are there significant difference between commercial / industrial compared with residential in terms of how they are managed?

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm now researching what's the best property management software to start with.
The fact that PropertyMe integrates with accounting software Xero (which we have been successfully using for a while) is absolutely awesome. My conclusion is that PropertyMe+Xero+Zapier+Google Calendars is an absolute winner for me so far.

We use Zapier to create new Trello cards from new Google Calendar events.

We are currently using PropertyMe, have found it very user friendly, our owners really like the owner portal which allows them to login and anytime and view details for their property.

Nice one! Very convenient! I've just signed up for PropertyMe and can't wait exploring it further.
I was pleased to find their app on iTunes, and I'm hoping they will soon come up with an Android App too.
Even though I like Apple products (and still have my old, ancient iPhone and iPad ;), a couple of years back I switched operating my business to a Samsung phone and tablet, and the Android environment feels good...

Is there any Commercial Agents out there that use PropertyMe? I am trying to decide on PropertyTree vs PropertyMe... understanding Commercial is a lot more specialised with data input etc so would like to ensure the program has a decent Commercial module (m2 / Tax / Rent Reviews / Tenancy Schedule / Insurance etc). I have used a range of other software products but looking at starting fresh on a new Cloud based system..or any other suggestions would be great.
    Thanks.

Do you have any Commercial Properties in your Portfolio? I really liked the PropertyTree set up / Demo and it will work perfectly however I see a lot of comments advising PropertyMe is muchbetter?

Your best bet is to join the property me users group on fb, we all help each other there.

Unfortunately PropertyMe has confirmed that their system is not fully loaded for Commercial Portfolio...damn, PropertyTree it is!

Agree with you, we changed to PropertyMe 12 months ago, it's extremely transparent for our owners, they can log in to their portal 24/7 and receive instant statistics and information on rental payments, outstanding jobs, everything to do with their IP - it's continuously updated with new features- wouldn't use anything else.

You people are making me want to go and get another Property Me demonstration!

About a year ago I went and investigated everything I could find. I shortlisted Property Tree, Property Me and Palace.... Palace kicked ass! They're moving to a cloud platform soon though so I will reserve my recommendation for the moment.

What's the best option for a new holiday letting agency? Property me sounds wonderful but appear to be residential only. I set up with the WP Rentals theme which I love, but can't find trust accounting software that integrates so I'm looking at an all in one system. Any suggestions?

We've had several clients who have loved using PropertyMe for property management and the ease of use and communication features seem to be stand-out hits. Going for cloud-based software does make it easier when you want to access information on-the-road. I'll check out the PropertyMe article!
