Have a wander around the carpark around midnight - you may spot some wombats (big ones) or go for a night drive and you'll spot some roos or wallabies too.

    Temp is still dropping. [IMG]

Heaps of dead kangaroos on the roadside...pretty upsetting to the wife.

@Leo2413 It should be sleeting and wet snow out there by now. Will turn white shortly. Insert: snowdance [IMG]

In the morning the snow was quite thin but we went up the chairlift and it was insane! Pretty thick snow up top. As I type now i think it's snowing thicker down here. Locals are expecting it to go ballistic any time now. We did some skiing at Friday Flat where it was snowing thicker in the afternoon. I have a feeling when we go out in the morning it's going to be full of snow everywhere.

Definitely do it. We had a great time and it wasn't even snowing that heavy.

It's nice when there's snow and it's sunny.
But I've still had fun when there was a blizzard. Sort of.

yep we did some skiing at the beginner area in Friday Flat which was fun but the weather wasnt the best. continual rain and light snow.

Sun came out on the way home..haha...but we had a glorious drive back to Sydney. We stopped in Cooma along the way and it's a reeeeeally cool town. People so nice and friendly (unlike many in Syd). We went to this really cool art house muesem place then looked around the many shops. Also had some good fun with the baby labs in the pet store. Some good coffee shops there too.

Agree mate. Would have been perfect to ski in sunny no rain or snow falling weather. Oh well, we're looking forward to that next time maybe in Japan.

Hopefully welcome back! You'll love it back here :p

Best thing we bought was in Jindabyne. Always wanted to buy the dog. When we saw them in a gift shop I negotiated a 25% off if I bought all 4. :)
