    Hello,

newbie question here: i am looking at a property in Elizabeth (adelaide area) with frontage of ~ 18 meters. the council regulations for subdivision is 10 meter frontage. does anyone know if these are hard rules or application dependent? total area after subdivision still much larger than their 300 sqm minimum. from google maps i can def see smaller blocks and on REA also can find sub 300 sqm blocks.

    thanks!

Is your frontage angled or 90 degrees? Concessions are often granted if the front of the block is angled (making the frontage longer) even if your width is less then the requirement.

A town planner or surveyor would be able to advise If this is feasible.
