Maybe not but for your average investor who looks to buy the nice ip that they would live in themselves they would be horrified at the thought of buying in Elizabeth Downs:eek:

Lots of people queued up to buy in Mt Druitt / Logan .

We did well in Logan last cycle . My kids starting out can't afford a nice ip they'd want to live in , having said that , my 25 year old son was quite impressed by the cheapies we're buying in Brisbane and wants one him self and said he'd be happy to live in it . Daughter has one subject to B&P which comes through today .

Why does people suggesting that Penrith and Mt. Druitt in NSW is a slum ?
it is affordable now and it will become one of the CBD in the future like Blacktown and Campbelltown.

I once inspected a place that had four separate tenants living in it. The house was divided into two , and then there was also two granny flat like structures in the backyard.
One of the tenants was getting evicted at the time, and was not letting anyone inspect their part of the house.

I also remember once inspecting a house that had three bedrooms, but then in the backyard had this long structure that contains four side by side bedrooms, with one bathroom. It was almost like a barracks. This was all in Blacktown council as well. Really weird.

Mt Druitt is the closest Sydney has to a slum .

We don't have them in the same way America does .

In Sydney I don't think there is a particular suburb but rather more of property. By that I mean properties like boarding houses that let rooms to the mentally ill, uneducated immigrants, illegal workers and the like that can fly under the radar.
