    Hi all

New to the forum. We are looking at purchasing land in Highton (Geelong), Victoria. A lot of these blocks are a good size, but sloped, some by a large degree.

Has anyone on here had any experience building in the Highton area? If so, who did you build with, did you have exorbitant site costs, is it better to pay more for a split level design than to cut/fill a block?

    Thanks in advance!

Seems a bit crazy to flatten a block in a location you like to fit a stock standard off the shelf plan. Why not design for the slope?

That’s why we’re after advice, to see what others have done and what has worked. The block has about a 3m drop over 40m.
