Guys, I am looking for some expert opinions about a sloping block. I am looking at a property on an uneven block. Its on the lower side of the street and block is also sloping from left to right. The house is not sloping because they land scaped it before construction but I am not sure what challenges I may face in the future if I decide to change it like building a granny, extending the house or building a pool in the backyard. I know it can be expensive but what else?

If the property is on the downside of a hill, then be aware that council will not consent to a pumpout system for stormwater (in most instances) should you wish to build a granny flat. You will need to seek an easement to drain water through the neighbouring properties.
