Has anyone done skylight for apartment? Is it worth doing? Thinking of adding one to an internal bathroom as well as above the stairwell. The quote from one that has done the neighbour's came back with 2k for the bathroom and 6k for the stairwell (due to scaffolding needed)...

    • How are you addressing fire rating issues?
    • Does the ceiling form part of a fire compartment?
    • Will the skylight be a fire source feature?
    • Can fire spread throughout the roof space?
    • Is there adequate separation between your skylight and the neighbours?
    • Does it need to be made of fire resistant materials to reduce the risks of spreading fire?
