Good day! My palm tree leaves are turning yellow quickly. Wonder whether this is a sign of ill-timed watering, inadequate fertilizations, pest or fungi? How can I save it? BTW, what kind of palm tree is it?
Take your photos, and a leaf, down to an experience plant nursery. Not Bunnings. They should be able to tell you what's going on
Looks ok to me,first cab off the rank would be buy a PH tester probe ,and see what the ph balance is.. A simple way is buy some sugar-cane mulch, then a 25kg bag of Dynamic lifter then lime the entire garden depending on the ''PH'' reading and the location within Australia..imho..
Take pics to nursery. I bet they ask you about soil and fertilisers you use. Most plant issues come down to nutrition, excessive or insufficient light/heat or water. Yellow fronds indicate a lack of nutrition. Possibly after the heavy rain in Sydney. The palm may even shed the frond. Picking the right nutrients is key. Palms arent trees. They are tree like. Trees have secondary growth but palms dont.
