Marriage for men is a guarantee whatever happens you will lose out financially.

As long as the other benefits are worth it for them.

    I assume you are joking.

In case you are not, as a male (last time I looked), I have to totally disagree with this.

My wife and I started out with very little and, as a team, we set common goals, both worked very hard and achieved what we have today.

Neither of us can solely claim the credit for our success and we are so much better off financially and in many other ways, that after 35 years, we would both say marriage was more than worth it.

This has been my and my hubby's experience as well.
You have to feel sorry for those people who see marriage as a war, rather than a partnership. Poor TMNT.

No, they just like variety and have the courage or motivation to change things. Or maybe other characteristics not worth discussing.

Marriage is an extension of a wonderful friendship, if your spouse isn't your best friend, then something is wrong.

BTW....Idirs Elba married Sonia Nicole Hamlin in 2006 with and the marriage lasted 1 day.

So very sad that I recall the Britney Spears/Jason Alexander 55 hour hookup.

17 year old me loved that girl... that red suit...

How long were they together for before they got married?

Speaking of weddings I traveled to Perth on the weekend for a friends wedding. They've been together for 5 years so hopefully it lasts longer than 4 days:p He said the wedding cost 38k.

I had a tenant who got married at the end of last year, moved in a couple of days later - separated within 2 months.

I was in utter shock. Together over 5 years, pregnant...

I just wonder when this happens, surely you'd know you had problems before walking down the aisle.
