    Wouldn't that be the aim though? I love the look of new shiny copper, but I love the verdigris finish and I'd probably try to speed up the process by applying particular household products to get there sooner.

    I guess so. There's probably a few people who'd love to give this a good clean and "bring it up like new"... :eek::eek::eek:

    :eek::D - oh dear - just got a quick image of the neighbours kids, of the male variety, running in for a quick "slash" across the garage door.

    That would very quickly create in "interesting" patina

    It would have looked a lot better if it was polished but looks too industrial in its raw form.
