Hi, we are about to sign a contract for a brand new unit in an apartment complex. There are tenants already occupying other units. Something our conveyancer picked up was that the Sewerage Service Diagram was not included as part of vendors contract. The vendor did provide a letter from Sydney Water stating that the "diagram is not available", however vendor is not informing us when they will be able to provide the SSD to us.

Is this something that's required if we resell the property?

We are not sure if this is a red-flag for future plumbing issues or when reselling. The developer is well reputed though.

Anyone had a similar issue? We are very confused if we should proceed or not.

How can you be sure that the sanitary fixtures are connected to the sewer & not emptying into the unit below?
