For PPOR we got a key ring with the agency's branding. Removed straight away.
    Nothing for any IP.

    A $70 cookbook.

(In reality, it probably cost me $10k consider how dodgy the RE agency was)

This post will not be tacky or lewd. Acts of generosity from agents have not come my way unfortunately.

You forget about the security valet parking & escort to/from the agency when you bought (they had to make sure you didn't back out).

Nothing worse than finding your Vespa up on bricks upon your return.

Got a small plastic tool box full of household cleaners for the PPOR from the REA.

Got a bottle of 'house wine' from the mortgage broker for the IP. It came with a label with a colour photo of the house on it and a message printed on the label. Still have the empty bottle 4 years later. - drank the wine

One settlement I had my rental agent pick up the keys. Selling agent called and asked me to come in and collect settlement gift. Never was intrigued enough to bother.

Another settlement where the purchase was from a developer, they went completely over the top. Massive bag of promo stuff. Couple of caps, bucket hat, couple of stubbie holders, towel, tshirts, multiple pens. It was all decent quality too.

Ballarat house: a decent bottle of red. Frankston unit: back then I didn't own a car (didn't need one, living in Docklands) so took train and bike for handover, thus had to decline the offered serving bowl.

    Sadly, nothing from REAs.
Heaps from banks though (it's quite common here). A TV, 2 mobiles, an iPad, parcels for CNY, cakes for birthday, shopping vouchers.

We've had all sorts of rubbish. Generally a pointless and generic gesture which, unless half decent booze, is more annoying than anything.

Normally I don't want or ask for anything, unless an agent gives me the s*&ts with poor communication or conduct. Then I demand a bottle of the bosses favourite rose on settlement.
My recent favourite happened earlier today actually - almost verbatim "oh we normally give our clients a nice gift pack but seeing as you're a developer here's a keyring" hahaha.

We didn't ask for anything, didn't want anything, yet that was how they chose to come at it hahahah. They have been overtly trying to win business from us as well. Fantastic relationship building effort.

From our last purchase we were given a cutting board, balsamic vinegar and olive oil... all of which we use regularly. Keys came in a nice little cardboard house :) (Bresic Whitney)

Last agent didn't even remove the bloody for sale sign! 3 months later got rid of it during kurb side collection. Useless mob purple bricks are.

Received bottle of wine for local purchases, can't remember for the interstate - maybe lost in transit, reckon might have got a thankyou card.

None of the wine has been drunk, each have been average sparkling red - I like sparkling red, but needs to be good.

I like the idea of a wine glass or 2 with the company logo, would be something you remember more.

LJ Hooker stuffed Bears x 4. 2 for me, 2 for sons. They give a gift bag with bear, wine, key rings, hat. Another agent gave a nice plant. Bought 2 new Nissans, got nothing.
