    Hi

I have a dual occupancy property with 2 separate tenants..they pay their own electricity bills but i have been paying their water bills.

Recently my water bill has spiked to 3 times the normal due to leaking taps not reported.

I have been quoted $1800 to install a separate water meter...is this excessive?

Does anyone have a plumber to recommend ?

My property is in Western Sydney.

    Many thanks!

if you want a separate water metre that the council/ local water authority can read and bill separately , then $1800 is the best deal ever

If the $1800 is to install 2 X apartment metre's that the owner and tenant's can read and proportion adjust a single water bill ........ then its still a little cheap
