    Hi all whats peoples thought on selling this time of year or is it better to wait till new year in Adelaide ?

    Depends whether your target market is owner occupiers or investors. If oo, I'd wait til mid Jan and all the buyers will be back out in force.

    If the property was already on the market then the marketing campaign would continue throughout the Christmas period. Apart from the public holidays it's all business as usual.

    The market is a bit slower approaching Christmas, I would suggest getting it all ready to go (ads, signboards etc) and launch marketing in early January.

    Investors looking for bargains during the christmas break are a bad target market for a property sale. Always target owner occupiers to maximise your sale price.
