    What are the advantages of selling by oneself without an agent
    Or
    Through REA

    The obvious advantage is that you wont have to pay the agent.

    On the other hand there is no benefit to a potential buyer.

    As a casual observation most people who seem to bypass the agent tend to have unrealistic expectations of thier properties worth in the first place.
