    Hi,
I'm monitoring the market and come across a property with a small old Queenslander on it.

I've read elsewhere on this site, that it's possible to sell the house and keep the land, instead of knocking down the house.

What organisations out there do such a thing? Any ideas or recommendations?

    Thanks
    Pete

    Hi Pete
there are plenty of companies out there that will buy the existing house and take it away if its suitable but there may be BCC restrictions depending on zoning/overlays etc .

If you want to PM the address to me I can easily check that for you :)

We are currently in the process of selling the queenslander on a block, then subdividing the land.

Brittany, are you able to share more detail?

What was the process? What were the rough numbers? What council was it in?

Redland council we are located in. The house removals will sell the house, once they have a buyer they will remove the house off the property. We could have sold the house ourselves but I didn't really want to go down the path of insurances ect.

Then the building of the new homes begin!

There is a bit of land around the Redlands, I take it this is a special block for a PPOR?

EDIT: I just noticed you mentioned 'homes', subdivision?

It is a PPOR and will be a subdivision; land is currently 975m2
