Appreciate your comments. It is helpful.
I believe my ANZ lets me trade with the sold stock's money immediately. I can't withdraw it but I can use it to buy.

Doesn't SelfWeath use OpenTrader (white labelled)?

All brokers let you do this, if you're using a broker that doesn't you should change.

We're partnered with OpenMarkets, who are the market participant. OpenMarkets then have their own share trading platform, called OpenTrader.

How is partnering is different from white labelling?

    Apparently..

OpenTrader provides everything Selfwealth does, but at half the price for trades under $5000. They are both CHESS sponsored. For trades over $5000, Selfwealth is cheaper.

    Damn..missed the 2 updates above :D

Selfwealth seems to be the favoured platform for many

    There's also Think Markets
$8 Per Trade (up to $200,000)
    ASX HIN Support CHESS-Sponsored
POLi (Australia Post) Instant deposit for approved transactions (max $50,000 per deposit)

    The bad
    Mobile App only
Share trading not available on desktop
No live streaming (Live prices only at refresh)

Competition is good for the consumer, amazing to think that nowadays with micro-investing all you need is a mobile phone and $20 and you can invest in leading companies across the world

Did my first buys on the selfwealth platform today and so far so good.
Yes the same day transfer and funds available would be nice.
Only other thing I had issues with was the Face ID log in on the phone app. I manually log in, go into setting and turn Face ID on. I log out and go back to log in and it says Face ID not active.
Now if I go in and activate Face ID and close the app by swiping up rather than logging out, Face ID works next time I try it’s log in.

What were you thoughts on the guidelines? I hate how hard it is do anything with charts with them and use CommSec just for charting as it's.great and then buy via selfwealth. Must admit most trading for me these days is not.direct shares as.forex returns are so much better. Really hate doing charts with selfwealth.

Yeh im not a fan of their charts, the target portfolios, or the avatars. But I dont think you will find a better chess sponsored, reliable, cheap platform. Any issues I have had with them have all been very minor and fixed up straight away.

I had no problem with the charts. I didn’t use them. :D I logged on, put in a bid for a bunch VAS at the offer price and I hit buy. Then did the same for VGS. Will do this again next month and the month after. No chart gazing for me.

White labelling is what ANZ do with CMC: log into the ANZ website and it's the CMC platform just in ANZ colours.

Our trades go through OpenMarkets into the market, that's the only part of their technology we use -- they're primarily a B2B company, not a B2C/direct to retail investor organisation. The SelfWealth platform is our own.

The biggest and only problem I see with selfwealth is that the customer can not put the money instantly and need at least a day to get it transferred. Once that is resolved there will be more people start using this platform... I hope you tried to address this issue before starting US trading.

Now, you had your CR so don't waste time and simply address this issue first please.

    For US Share Trading,

You can jump onto Stake. You can get funds in your account prior to the next market session and not pay brokerage for trading on US shares.

Not sure if I can put the link here?
They are also running a promo now whereby if you use the referral code F45 when you sign up ; you get $45 worth of F45 shares in your account.

Been having the same issue with the Face ID sign in option. I log in , activate Face ID then log out. Try logging in again with Face ID and it tells me Face ID is not set up.

Now if I log in activate Face ID and close the app by swiping up rather than logging out, then when I try logging back in Face ID works.
