    Hi,

    Is there any free website to search for the name of a property owner given an address (QLD)? My friend wants to know whether the person claiming to be his landlord is actually the house owner. Thanks.

    You could ring the council and claim to be a neighbour with a need to contact the owner regarding fence issues. Of course, the address may be just c/- agent ...

    Otherwise, you can pay a few dollars for a title search, which will tell you a 'name' but not necessarily their address.
