Hi Everyone I am still getting together all the fee proposals before pushing on with the construction certificate on my project in Eastwood (NSW). The architect that did the DA drawings has quoted me the following for the Construction Certificate $7500 + GST • Prepare drawings and other info at an appropriate scale including plans, elevations and sections • Preparation of detail sections for construction purposes • Window and door schedules • Specification required for certification • Review consultants work He's also offered to complete do a schedule of finishes, kitchen and bathroom details and specifications for $5500 + GST. As this is my first project, I am not sure if these are reasonable costs or if the Architect is the appropriate person to be handling a schedule of finishes. All I know is that I'm not interested nor have the time to go out and select appliances, kitchens etc.
@AdamT I recently paid my architect 7k inc gst for CC drawings for 2 architecturally designed 3 storey dwellings. I paid my interior designer 3k inc gst to work with me on full internal schedule finishes/color schemes etc.
