It seems to be an inflated proxy for the stock market. Maybe start there.

BTC has broken below $30k tonight.. I'm confident enough now to throw in my prediction of $10k by the end of the year.

LUNA lost 98% of it's value today  Lots of suicide help-line talk over on Reddit.

All other crypto getting slaughtered right now

I know a guy married to a Korean lady. They both heavily invested in Btc....apparently btc is very popular with Koreans. She's now suicidal. Very sad story.

Sackie has outlined his latest entry and exit on a short position in a separate thread.

I’m not a trader but trading crypto oils be profitable for those who know what they’re doing

    Exited long ago taking profits.

I am trading the odd bull move and locking in profits but on small size.

I vowed to myself I will never give back a chunk of my profits shorting crypto . It's not a logical decision but an emotional one. Regardless, I'm comfortable with it. Actively trading stocks ATM. Some currency.

wow, reading some of the posts in this thread is really enlightening as to just how uneducated people are to crypto and the crypto markets. we are a long way from mass adoption lol.

While the whining ninnies were panicking or poo pooing crypto the last 2 years, I , who has a pretty deep understanding of the BTC cycle, was loading my bags. 2022/23 was an opportunity of a lifetime so I went very heavy.

Between July 2022 and last August I put every spare dollar I had in to the market.
    my BTC average is 22,5k.
    Aped solana at $13.
rotated profits on the double in to gaming plays and got Kaspa at .0026.
Also went heavy on launchpads for cash flow this upcoming bull.

Ive 4x my net worth since last November and we haven't hit the halving yet.

I look forward to dumping on all the fomo'ers as BTC hits ATH. I will exit the market at this point, I dont need the top.
This cycle is probably the last great opportunity in crypto as regulation comes to snuff out the inefficiencies in the market but I am already looking forward to the next bear market. when BTC dumps I get excited.

but be warned, I do believe we get front run this cycle and it ends much sooner than people expect.

Every cycle we have people making the same mistakes. Crypto has heightened my awareness of market psychology - it's incredibly predictable.

Ignorance isn't an excuse. Instead of repeating all the media narratives of 'scam' black market' tulip bubble' , why not take some time to do some research. might actually make some money , guys.

FYI, never buy crypto in this period of the cycle. If you haven't got your bags packed at this stage you are too late - you will hold too long and will just become exit liquidity for people like me.

I have no way of knowing that yet. Once the bull market is over and we see what the top was. Also the time component of the cycle is as relevant as the price. around 12 months after the top, I will start to ladder in again.
Just for the sake of discussion, let's assume btc hits 90k this cycle, I can see the 37k level as key support in 2025/26.
Eth perhaps hitting 8k this cycle and looking to buy back in around 2800.

with institutional players entering the market, the 4 year cycle around the halving, which to this date has been extremely accurate, will start to be less relevant I think . just my theory, but so many other factors will come in to play once the big boys start moving the market around.

I'm going to assume you mean USD$80k ATH. As AUD$80k has been reached already?

So you will exit at AUD$120k btc price...

I wonder if we could reach USD$100k ATH this cycle...

Yes sorry, I live outside Australia and only think in USD with crypto. Should've specified.

I can only speculate but there seems far too much consensus on the 100k level (USD) so my thesis is we dont hit it. Which is why im thinking 80-90k.

I dont pretend to know but this is the thesis im taking in to the market this time.

Sounds like you've made an amazing profits in the last 12 months. Congrats!
While I agree with most of your points (I'm in crypto since 2017 and have seen few cycles myself), I would advise to leave some beef in the game when BTC reaches your selling point. Take most of the profits but leave some as you never know where it will end. It may never see the ~37K lows again after this bull run, and who knows, it may even end much higher than the anticipated $100K. BTW, $100K was the consensus last bull run and it didn't hit it, so maybe this cycle it will do the opposite and overshoot the target :). I won't be surprised if it'll reach $200K (wishful thinking, I know).

All figures are in USD of course, as it should be in the crypto world :)

If taking all the investment endeavours (leaving PPOR aside), mine is approximately as follows:
    1. 60% in RE
    2. 25% in Shares (international and asx)
    3. 15% in Crypto (~40% of that in BTC, 60% spread between other tokens)
