    Property newbie here, trying not to make any rookie mistakes and would value senior advice.

    Saw this apartment in Lightsview

    Pros: 2 bed with 2 bath. Affordable for me. Good rental returns for cost price (market seems to be at 400-500/week)

    Cons: Apartment, poor capital growth, strata

    Are there any big red flags I'm missing?

    Suburb apartment blocks like this are a red flag in general. Buy a house mate.

    Would agree with this, unsure of what your budget is but would think you would still be able to buy a house with a decent land component in Adelaide.
