Does anyone have recommendations for a roofer/roof plumber in Moreton Bay Region? I think I (unfortunately) have to replace my roof very soon...

Also, a very general question but what is the ballpark cost in QLD for a roof replacement for a 3 bedder single storey.

    Thank you.

What type of roof (metal or tiles)?

We had an old 1930s tin roof (high set three bedroom cottage) replaced with colorbond for just shy of $16k early in 2019.

We had other quotes for zincalume that were higher than this colorbond quote.

I don't have the roofer's name because it came through a project manager, but could find out if it helps.

It is a metal roof. My quote from last year was for around $19k. Ouch. If possible, I would be keen on your roofer's name.

P/S: I went with your recommendation here (from a few years ago) when I needed a termite barrier and used Rifle. They have been great so far.

Our project manager appears to be out of the office today when I tried to get him for something else.

Give me a reminder if I don't get back with a name. I'm not sure how long he might be away.

I'm glad you are happy with Wayne and his sons at Rifle.

Not AMJ, was Skyes. Have you used AMJ?

Yep, I used AMJ. They were the higher priced of the two quotes I got, but they were able to do it within about 3 weeks.

    Thank you - will do.

I've been dealing with Michael since the installation of the barrier few years ago. :)

May I ask why you had a project manager for your roof replacement?

Do you mind disclosing how much it cost you and what type of property it was? Thank you.

It was part of a total development project including lifting and renovating two houses, reconfiguring the blocks and building four townhouses.

And I've just heard back. It was Roofshield Restorations and it was $13k. The higher figure I talked about might have been one of the other quotes.

Thank you for your help. $13k is great - I will give them a ring!
