Rockhampton like most of the regional towns across Queensland tends to move up and down however Rockhampton isn’t as volatile as some of its neighbouring towns. One of the biggest things that will drive price growth in Rockhampton particularly in some of the more desirables areas such as Norman Gardens, Frenchville and The Range is that they are all land locked. Land is extremely scares in these suburbs and their density is controlled and limited. As the influx of people move in to work for Adani we are going to see these buyers place upward pressure of the housing stock in those suburbs. In addition vacancy rates currently sit under 1% and yields are attractive in certain locations.

Looks like it's tricky to find a good PM over there? Do you know a good PM by any chance? Thanks!

Abbi from McGrath are great and Elizabeth for Elite Real Estate. Very pro-active.

Get the roof checked if buying Rocky / Yeppoon due to massive hail storm April 2020. If you are lucky the roof will be recently replaced.

Sorry, but I've had very poor experiences with Elite Real Estate and would not recommend them (I had three properties with them).

@Samj - I'm happy to recommend Pat O'Driscoll RE. They did a good job looking after our Rocky places.
