Ripehouse taking payments after cancelled membership

    Just a heads up for anyone that's provided card details to Ripehouse.com.au, I've now been charged three times, on two separate occasions, for things I haven't purchased. I cancelled my membership in December 2018 (!) and it was confirmed both at the initial cancellation and after contacting them in August 2019 (after getting wrongfully charged) that they had deleted my card details..obviously not as I got charged again today! Only very small amounts but still concerning that this can happen.

    They are just checking that card is still operational. By they I mean either the business mentioned or someone who has hacked their system and stolen credit card details. The big ticket items will be along soon. Standard practice by the criminal world.

    Query the transaction immediately with the cc provider.

    Hi @EmmaS , as you have used RipeHouse, can you please share your feedback about the tool. Did you find it useful in assisting you to find a quality property across Australia and is it worth $1500 they charge for an year. Thanks!

    Check the haveibeenpwned site and it may indicate a data breach so them deleting it wont matter as its circulating on the darkweb. Kill the card
