Ewe need to be careful when buying a ewesed ride on mower. Some sellers may try to pull the wool over your eyes.

How often and how long ewe want to spend mowing is the question ?
With a full commercial you can let it go, with a small $1-2k ride on you could be out there for hours every weekend
(I run Gator mulching blades, cheaper than genuine and do a better job )

Same mower, used regularly, 40 minutes for this area :D
    (4,000 m2 approx)

On that note, when I was young this was the best mower fuel (well maybe not racing fuel) available although the mower engine was attached to a push bike (go bikes we called them):

Where would the heat from the motor dissipate?

That’s why we screamed “great balls of Fire” whilst riding the go bike:).

I take it had no clutch so when the heat built up in the nether regions you'd just jump off to stop so long as you're not travelling too fast lol.

We have a 30yo Iseki. Low tech so easy to fix when something goes wrong. People are still refurbing these and selling them.
Seems modern in comparison to the 80yo++ Massey and slashing deck I putter around on.

    And for @geoffw I found this am-ewe-sing

If you want a good ride on choose a ball bearing model.
