Ferri’s SAA for individuals isn’t far away from Swensen, haven’t read “all about asset allocation” but have seen the core 4 and some of his stuff on Bogleheads.

The asset allocation decision is a little different for AU investors, however the theme is the same.

Yes very similar to Swensen. Ferri’s REIT allocation is based on it’s economic footprint.

When researching asset allocation at times the two books that consistently get recommended are Swensen’s Unconventional Success and Ferri’s All About Asset Allocation. I enjoyed reading both of them.

A familiar theme I’ve noticed including Ferri recently is the simplification of their private portfolios as they age. The Boglehead Three Fund portfolio or similar often being a popular final destination.

This from Ferri I think really nails the progression of this type of investor over time:

I’ll be rolling out the “saintly 7” website, training and newsletter soon.

Personally I’ve settled on the “Dynamic Duo”:). I’m also working on the release of a newsletter titled the “BareArse Investor”.

It that the eventual ultimate portfolio when better product choice is available here given you’re currently running the “Sexy 6”?

You need to sign up for that priceless info!

I’ve also got the “enriching 8” coming out in 2019

I used to just go to the Other Assets thread to read the posts and people that interest me. Now it’s all over the shop.

I get the reasons for the reorganisation of the site, and maybe I’ll figure it out eventually, but at moment it’s just making it a lot slower to go to the things I want to read.

That was his earlier strategy. You need to subscribe to his premium service to find out what the additional holding of the “Sexy Six” portfolio is. As a bonus for the first 100 subscribers he’ll even throw in some complimentary red wine reviews.
