Retirement/Aged care friendly development

    Has anyone done a small scale retiree or aged care friendly development? My parents own a 1960s walk up block of 6 apartments in the nice Adelaide suburb of Norwood. The apartments are all 2/1/1. Want to explore redeveloping into maybe 4 townhouses, higher end, lifts, wired to get emergency medical assistance etc. things you may want when you're older without moving to a retirement village (and there are none nearby). The parents would move into one and sell the others. Has anyone done something similar or can recommend developers who have done this?
